What’s New with Ford Pro Software? April 2025 Edition

At Ford ProTM, we’re committed to providing a great customer experience, and we do this through consistent product improvements.

 

This month, we’re rolling out updates to Ford ProTM Telematics309 Software that are designed to enhance fleet management insights. New Logbook features have been upgraded with advanced filtering for granular trip analysis and simplified vehicle-specific data access. And thanks to helpful feedback from customers, we’ve enhanced the Logbook feature in the Ford ProTM Telematics Drive app992 too.

New Logbook Features - Trip History Update: Fleet managers can now use advanced filtering in Logbook to easily access:

 

  • In-Depth Trip Analysis: Fleet managers can leverage advanced filters to review trip data, identifying trends and making data-driven decisions that enhance fleet performance.
  • Driver Performance Evaluation: By analyzing trip history, fleet managers can assess individual driver performance to pinpoint areas for improvement and recognize good driving behavior.
  • Operational Reporting: Detailed reports can now be created for compliance and operational assessments, helping ensure that fleet managers are in compliance.

New Logbook Features - Filter by Vehicle: Fleet managers now have a more detailed and nuanced understanding of their vehicle usage when filtering Logbook data by vehicle, including: 

 

  • Simplified Vehicle Management: Users can access their fleet’s Logbook data on one organized page and filter by vehicle or driver.
  • Reduced Complexity, Increased Efficiency: The Logbook filter-by-vehicle feature reduces the number of clicks required to access critical vehicle data, saving fleet managers time and effort.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Fleet managers gain a comprehensive overview of vehicle usage and performance, enabling proactive decision-making and optimized fleet management.

Logbook App Updates - We’ve enhanced the Logbook feature in the Ford Pro Telematics Drive app based on user feedback. These updates address key pain points in the trip classification process, especially for users who manage high volumes of trips.

Bulk Classification: Fleet managers can now select and classify multiple trips at once, eliminating the need to process each trip individually.

  • Streamlined Workflow: We’ve reduced the amount of screen taps it takes to classify 10 trips by 70%.
  • Access Method: Fleet managers using iOS devices can tap the Select button in the top right corner to enter bulk selection mode. Those using AndroidTM devices can activate this feature by long-pressing on any trip card.
  • Classification Options: Once trips are selected, users can simultaneously apply either Business or Private classification to all selected trips.

 

Month-Picker Navigation: We’ve added month-by-month pagination to help users navigate their trip history more effectively.

  • Organized Trip History: Users can now jump directly to specific months instead of scrolling through one continuous list of trips.
  • Progress Tracking: Monthly segmentation creates clear reference points, making it easier for users to remember where they left off when classifying trips across multiple sessions.

 

Enhanced Trip Card Design: Trip cards now display more information to facilitate quicker decision-making.

  • Additional Data Points: Each trip card now shows the distance traveled and trip duration alongside the existing location and time information.
