What’s New with Ford ProTM Software? June 2025 Edition

Ford ProTM is rolling out new features to help fleets operate more efficiently, including a new notification that alerts fleet managers when a vehicle enters or exits battery preservation mode, and new to the Telematics Drive app1140, you can now see your fleet’s specific depot and home charger locations, port status, and charger details.

Vehicle Sleep State Event Messaging is Live

 

 In the Data Services subscription, the Sleep State Change Event notification advises when a vehicle has exited or entered battery preservation mode due to lack of use.  

 

In battery preservation mode, the vehicle moves into electrical hibernation, suspending data updates and responses to API commands. The Sleep State Change Event notification lets you know the vehicle can't send data or receive signals, and as a result, features like the 24-hour Key Off periodic updates are not transmitted.   

 

This notification saves time and resources by eliminating the need to triage vehicles that are not refreshing data and prompts the fleet operator to refresh vehicle location and health data by simply starting the engine and moving the vehicle.

In-Vehicle Coaching Customization

 

In-vehicle coaching has a new home within the Telematics Software dashboard, enabling fleet managers to select specific vehicles and customize real-time feedback for such things as speeding, idling time, seatbelt status, acceleration or braking — all without having to leave the platform.

Ford ProTM Chargers are Now Visible on Live Map

 

Fleet Managers subscribed to Ford Pro charging software can now see their fleet-specific Ford Pro chargers from within the Drive App on the Live Map. This helps drivers identify and find their private fleet chargers to easily fill up their electric vehicles. From within the Drive App, fleet managers can now access:

 

  • Charger Location: Easily locate depot and home chargers on the map within the app. 
  • Port Status: View the status of ports for both depot and home chargers.
  • Charger Details: Access comprehensive details about each charger, including specifications and current status.

Ford ProTM Fleet Management Software is Getting Even Better! 

 

We recently rolled out an upgrade to Ford Pro Fleet Management Software. Additionally, the package names are changing (from Pro to Professional, and from Advanced to Premium), which users will see reflected in both billing statements and the user interface. With the new package, fleet managers now have access to additional capabilities that were previously unavailable — including the FleetioGo app in Spanish, Workflow Automation, and more — all at no additional cost. 

Moving to Professional (from Pro)?

The Professional package includes everything available today, plus key additions like:  
  • FleetioGo app in Spanish
  • Workflow Automation
  • Standard Work Orders & Calendar
  • Webhooks
  • Standard Parts & Inventory Management 

Moving to Premium (from Advanced)?

The Premium package includes everything available today, plus advanced capabilities like:  
  • FleetioGo app in Spanish
  • Workflow Automation  
  • Work Order Markups
  • Quoting & Invoicing
  • Enhanced Warranty Management
