Ford ProTM Offers Exciting Elite Service Center Opportunity to Eligible Dealers

In the commercial fleet world, proper vehicle maintenance is of the utmost importance. After all, unexpected vehicle downtime translates to lost fleet productivity and profits. For that reason, Ford ProTM is excited to announce the launch of the Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Program, an extension of our 650-plus Commercial Vehicle Center dealer network.
Ford Pro plans to add 120 large-bay elite service centers across the United States, with extended hours and quick turnaround times, to offer unmatched flexibility, help maximize fleet productivity, potentially reduce cost of ownership and help increase vehicle uptime. Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center facilities will also offer Mobile Service in order to provide professional commercial fleet service options while vehicles are in the field or at the depot. There are currently more than 900 Mobile Service units in operation today, with a goal of having a total of 2,100 by the end of 2023.
Eligible dealers are invited to review the program requirements and benefits to decide whether this elite service center opportunity aligns with their business goals. To be considered for participation in the program, dealers must be in good standing and commit to building a minimum of 24 service bays for Class 1–7 commercial vehicles1070 within their location. They must also operate a minimum of five Mobile Service vans to bring elite service directly to customers. Some other requirements include:
- Operating extended hours up to 72 service hours per week and six days per week
 - Designating a minimum of four bays to medium-duty service and another four to Express Service
 - Participating in all Ford Pro Commercial loaner programs, CX Customer Call Center Support and Transparent Pricing programs
 - Providing enhanced online Appointment Scheduling
 - Complying with all Elite Commercial Parts & Service Training and Certifications
 - Enrolling in the D2D Express Program
 - Meeting minimum facility EV standards and requirements and all other Ford Pro Elite standards, requirements and guidelines
 

Ford ProTM evaluated the footprint, flow technician experience, upfit complexity and stall specifications, as well as parts placement and aesthetics, in order to design service centers that could accommodate commercial vehicle maintenance.
To help approved1071 dealers meet the above requirements, Ford Pro offers financial1072 and design support, when applicable. For instance, dealers can enjoy 30% off each in-service Ford-approved upfit Mobile Service unit. In addition, dealers will receive operational benefits, including tire discounts, marketing and business development support, field service engineering, Mobile Service and training support.
The first Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service facility opened in January 2023, and several more are set to break ground this year. When applicable, financial assistance may be offered: Ford ProTM will match facility funds up to $1 million for certified Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service facilities completed by December 31, 2023. In addition, Ford Pro provides Elite certified dealers $500,000 in business assistance funds. Elite dealers receive a Mobile Service subsidy of up to $30,000 per unit up to 10 units.
