Work Truck Awards Ford F-600® Super Duty® Chassis Cab “Medium-Duty Truck of the Year”

Ford ProTM has a history of delivering top-quality commercial trucks to fleets. In keeping with that tradition, the Ford F-600® Super Duty® Chassis Cab recently beat out 18 other nominees to win Work Truck magazine’s Medium-Duty Truck of the Year award. Readers selected winners based on six criteria: application effectiveness, durability, quality, servicing, maintenance and lifecycle costs.
This win marks the ninth Medium-Duty Truck of the Year award for Ford—and the second win for the Ford F-600,1055 which debuted at Work Truck Week in 2019. “Consistency is the hallmark of greatness,” said Work Truck Executive Editor Lauren Fletcher. “The Ford F-600 Super Duty Chassis Cab’s win as Work Truck’s Medium-Duty Truck of the Year is a testament to its unwavering excellence in the field of commercial vehicles.”1055
To accept the award, Andrew Kernahan, Ford Super Duty Chief Program Engineer, appeared at Work Truck Week 2023 held in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 7–10. “On behalf of the entire Ford Pro team, I’d like to thank all the fleet managers who have once again voted the F-600 Work Truck magazine’s Medium-Duty Truck of the Year,” said Kernahan. “Our mission is to provide the most dependable and functional trucks for any job, and the F-600 is built for heavy and strenuous work.”
