What’s New with Ford Pro Software? September 2024 Edition

This cloud-based platform acts as a fleet optimization tool, helping you manage and support the commercial vehicles you use for business—but that’s not all. The insights gathered are fed back to our product development teams, driving continuous improvement in our products and enhancing your overall experience. The possibilities are endless, limited only by your imagination.

What’s New

NEW Feature

Parked duration – Parked Duration (in minutes) has been added to Multi-Vehicle Trip History Report. Parked Duration (in minutes) details the duration from the last time the commercial vehicle was turned off to when it was next turned on again.

NEW Feature

Logbook – Now available for Ford Pro^TM Telematics³⁰⁹ subscribers in Europe, the United States, and Canada. Logbook records trip types and distances traveled by fleet driver or commercial vehicle for business, tax reporting, and expense reimbursement purposes.

Digital logbooks are becoming increasingly prevalent for tax reporting purposes in countries across Europe, such as Norway and Germany (2025), as well as in the U.S. and Canada. This feature enables customers to manage compliance requirements.

NEW Feature

Vehicle and Driver Behavior Trends – Now available, a new Trends & Insights section has been added under Vehicle/Driver reports within Ford Pro^TM Telematics.³⁰⁹ In this new section, you can see insights from driver behavior monitoring, giving you an overview of fleet performance metrics. As such, you can identify which drivers are improving or could benefit from coaching. In-vehicle coaching can also now be activated directly from the Vehicle/Driver Behavior Reports page.

NEW Feature

Report Scheduler – You can now customize how often you automatically receive reports in Ford Pro^TM Telematics.³⁰⁹ You can create multiple schedules as needed on a weekly and monthly basis. Multiple reports can be included in each schedule and emailed to multiple recipients.

Enhanced Feature

Diesel Signals – More than 14 new diesel signals are now available to Data Services subscribers. New diesel signals give you more data to help monitor and manage fuel consumption of your commercial vehicles.

Enhanced Feature

Ford Pro^TM Drive App – New multi-vehicle location on the map—using the new Map tab enables you to view the location of your entire commercial fleet in real time. Selecting a vehicle pin will display the following:

• VEHICLE NAME
• DRIVER NAME
• VEHICLE STATUS
• ADDRESS
• DATE/TIME STAMP OF LOCATION DETAILS LAST RECEIVED

Fleet drivers can also see their vehicle’s location using the Vehicle tab.

Enhanced Vehicle Health Feature

Filter by DTC – You can now filter the Vehicle Health page based on a specific Diagnostic Trouble Code/Field Service Action, giving you more targeted vehicle health insights.
